Silversea Extends ‘Passport to Luxury’ Promotion to All Voyages in 2012!

(Ft. Lauderdale, FL -- March 22, 2011) Ultra-luxury Silversea Cruises has extended its popular "Passport to Luxury" promotion to all voyages in 2012, with the exception of Prince Albert II expedition cruises.
The multi-tiered program, available on new bookings only, provides an Onboard Spending Credit of up to $1,500 per suite ($750 per person) depending on the length of the voyage (or back-to-back voyages) as follows:
- Voyage of 6 - 7 days: $500 per suite Onboard Spending Credit
- Voyage of 8 - 21 days: $1,000 per suite Onboard Spending Credit
- Voyage of 22 or more days: $1,500 per suite Onboard Spending Credit
"When we introduced our 'Passport to Luxury' promotion for voyages in 2011, the response was amazing and indicated that travelers recognize and appreciate the exceptional value it offers," said Steve Tucker, Silversea's vice president of field sales for North America. "It provides tremendous economic incentive and also gives guests the freedom to tailor their vacation experience according to their personal preferences."
Added Tucker, "With the new multi-tiered program for 2012, guests can sail on consecutive voyages and the applicable Onboard Spending Credit will be determined by the total number of days on the booking. That means you could take two 7-day voyages back-to-back and qualify for a $1,000 Onboard Spending Credit."
For example, a couple could book Silver Spirit's 7-day Voyage 5213, sailing May 24-31, Barcelona to Rome, with calls in Sete, Monte Carlo (overnight visit for Grand Prix), Ajaccio, Portofino and Livorno, and enjoy a $500 per suite Onboard Spending Credit.
Or increase the Onboard Spending Credit to $1,000 per suite by combining Voyage 5213 with 7-day Voyage 5214 (May 31-June 7), sailing Rome to Venice, with calls in Sorrento, Taormina, Kotor, and Dubrovnik.
Or go all the way up to a $1,500 per suite Onboard Spending Credit by combining Voyage 5213 and 5214 with 11-day Voyage 5215 (June 7-18), sailing Venice to Istanbul, with calls in Hvar, Dubrovnik, Corfu, Santorini, Rhodes, Kusadasi, and Mytilene.
The "Passport to Luxury" Onboard Spending Credit lets Silversea guests craft their own luxury experience. You can treat yourself to a soothing aroma stone massage at the onboard spa. Hire a private car and driver in St. Tropez to explore the glamorous Riviera. Or savor an exquisite six-course dinner in Le Champagne -- the only Relais & Châteaux wine restaurant at sea.
Onboard Spending Credit options include:

- Specialty restaurants
- Premium spirits and rare vintages from the Connoisseur's List
- Silver Shore excursions (none are excluded)
- Boutique purchases
- Internet packages
- Laundry service
- Personal fitness training
- Direct-dial phone calls

The Onboard Spending Credit may be combined with Silver Savings fares (offering up to 60% savings on select voyages) and included round-trip air and transfers, if applicable. It is a capacity-controlled program and subject to availability. Maximum value of Onboard Spending Credit is determined by number of days on the booking. The Onboard Spending Credit is offered per double-occupancy suite. Single occupancy suites will receive 50% of the Onboard Spending Credit. It is valued in U.S. dollars, regardless of booking currency. It may not be redeemed for cash, and any unused portion will be forfeited. Additional restrictions may apply.
